Our new Acclaim Digital IntraOral Camera System employs a new cutting edge, fire wire technology to capture these images. All patient exams in my office are performed with the intraoral camera allowing us to view your teeth and identify any problem areas because it enlarges the images up to 150%. I think you would agree that utilizing an intraoral camera in our practice is beneficial for both patient and doctor.

The intraoral camera allows us to take an image of a tooth and show it clearly on a large, flat-screen monitor like the one shown at right. These images make it easier for you to understand the clinical situation in your mouth. In addition, there are situations where the enhanced magnification makes it easier for us to make a diagnosis as well.

The Acclaim intraoral camera is engineered to provide sharp, clear, true-to-life images. Its fixed-focus lens offers a broad depth-of-field, bringing all objects between 5mm and 50mm into sharp focus. This enables the camera to finely detail a section of a single tooth or an entire arch. The ability to freeze and unfreeze images on the camera allows single-handed operation.
